Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Sales Executive to join Swamangalam’s Weddings & Events team. The role involves meeting potential clients, understanding their event needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing bookings. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth execution of every event.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Handling & Client Interaction

Generate, follow up, and convert leads from walk-ins, website/social media inquiries, phone calls, and referrals.

Meet prospective clients to understand their wedding or event requirements.

Prepare customised packages and quotations based on client needs.
Sales Presentation & Deal Closure

Present Swamangalam’s full range of services (venue, décor, catering, photography/videography, hospitality).

Upsell premium add-ons and value-enhancing services.

Close bookings for weddings, receptions, private events, and corporate gatherings.
Coordination & Execution

Work closely with operations, logistics, vendor partners, and the events team post-booking.

Capture all client details accurately to ensure seamless event execution.

Maintain an updated CRM/booking tracker (client data, event dates, payments, vendor assignments, follow-ups).
Targets & Reporting

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Track sales progress and submit timely reports to the management team.
Networking & Vendor Relations

Attend bridal fairs, exhibitions, roadshows, and vendor meets to generate new business.

Coordinate with vendors and negotiate competitive pricing while maintaining margins.
Desired Skills & Experience

1–5 years of experience in Sales / Business Development (events, weddings, hospitality, or service industry preferred).

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Customer-first mindset with exceptional service orientation.

Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and flexible schedules based on event/client needs.

Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM software knowledge is a plus).
