Job Description

We are seeking a polite, proactive and customer-friendly Tele-caller / Enquiry Executive to handle incoming enquiries for our Weddings & Events division. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for answering calls, understanding their event needs, sharing basic information, and passing qualified leads to the sales team. This role plays a key part in ensuring fast response, accurate information and a positive customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

Inbound Enquiry Handling

  • Receive phone calls, WhatsApp messages, website inquiries, and social media leads.

  • Call back missed leads and gather event details (event type, date, guest count, budget, required services).

Lead Qualification & Data Entry

  • Record all enquiry information accurately in CRM/Google Sheets.

  • Schedule follow-up calls, sales meetings, or venue visits with the Sales Executive.

  • Update lead status, follow-up reminders, and daily call logs.

Client Communication

  • Provide basic pricing, packages, and service information to prospective clients.

  • Send quotations/proposals and follow up until the sales team takes over.

  • Coordinate site visits and share updates with relevant team members.

Sales Support

  • Generate warm leads and assist Sales Executives with client coordination.

  • Ensure all communication is polite, timely, and aligned with Swamangalam’s brand values.


Desired Skills & Experience

  • 6 months – 2 years of experience in tele-calling, customer service, call centre, or sales support.

  • Experience in events, hospitality, real estate, or service-based industries preferred.

  • Excellent phone communication in Bengali, Hindi, and English (Kolkata region advantage).

  • Strong listening skills and ability to understand client requirements clearly.

  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel/Google Sheets/CRM entry).

  • Friendly, patient, organised, and able to manage multiple calls and follow-ups.
