Job Description
Swamangalam is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to develop high-quality content for our weddings and events division. You will create compelling digital content for websites, social media, campaigns, video scripts, and marketing materials. The role requires strong storytelling ability, SEO awareness, and close collaboration with the design and marketing teams to produce on-brand, impactful communication.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Blog Content

Write SEO-friendly content for the website, service pages, blogs, and event descriptions.

Maintain accuracy, brand tone, and clarity in all web content.
Social Media & Marketing Copy

Develop copy for social media posts, reels, ads, emailers, newsletters, and campaign promotions.

Create content for festive campaigns, pre-wedding promotions, seasonal offers, and corporate events.
Video & Script Writing

Prepare scripts for promo videos, event teasers, client testimonials, and social media reels.

Work closely with the video and creative teams for storyboarding & messaging.
Creative Collaboration

Brainstorm ideas with the Graphic Designer & Marketing Executive to deliver cohesive visual + content campaigns.

Ensure all communication is consistent with Swamangalam’s brand voice.
SEO & Content Strategy

Optimise content with keywords, meta descriptions, internal linking, and readability improvements.

Maintain a structured content calendar for blogs, social media, festivals, and events.
Research & Insights

Track trends in weddings, events, hospitality, and digital marketing.

Study competitor content and customer preferences to generate unique, relevant content ideas.
Desired Skills & Experience

1–3+ years of content writing/copywriting experience, preferably in events, weddings, hospitality, or service industries.

Strong writing skills in English; Bengali/Hindi knowledge is a plus for regional targeting.

Basic understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and social media trends.

Creative mindset with storytelling ability and campaign ideation skills.
